It is a palatable source of highly digestible fibre energy for horses, cattle and sheep, in 25kg bags.

What's in it

Composition: sugar beet pulp, molasses and palm oil

Digestible fibre gives slow-release energy, rather than the quick energy of cereals

Once soaked, it can be mixed with other horse feeds

25kg bag

Feeding

Feeding rates are on the bag. Supabeet must be soaked before it is fed to horses, for a minimum of 24 hours. In warm weather soaked beet can ferment, so soak only enough for one day at a time. Supabeet is molassed, so it is not a low-sugar feed: for a horse or pony prone to laminitis, check the diet with your vet.

Buying from McCaskie

Priced on request.
