The Förster Technik Automatic ECO Lamb Feeder is a robust, low-labour machine designed to provide continuously fresh, warm milk substitute feed to large groups of lambs around the clock. It helps rear strong, healthy lambs by mimicking natural feeding patterns and dramatically reducing manual labour. 

Key Features and Specifications

The feeder uses a highly efficient, automated system to ensure optimal lamb development with minimal input from the farmer. 

• Capacity: The machine can supply up to 240 lambs using eight outlets, which can be adapted to accommodate up to 16 teats. It is designed for groups of 20 to 30 lambs per teat.
• Feeding Mechanism: Lambs ingest the feed via sucking teats "little and often" as desired, which reduces the risk of digestive upsets like bloat. The feed (water and milk powder) is mixed fresh in small portions in a heated bowl and dispensed at a constant, optimum temperature.
• Operation & Control: The feeder is easily and intuitively operated using a compact control unit with a 7-segment display. Users can set water and milk powder portion sizes separately and use a portion counter to monitor consumption.
• Hygiene: It features a semi-automatic cleaning process with increased cleaning temperatures, ensuring good hygiene is maintained which is crucial for lamb health.
• Models: It is available in two main models, TAP5-EZ2-32 and TAP5-EZ2-50, with slightly different electrical requirements.
