Description

Selko-TMR is a feed additive from Selko, the feed additive brand of Trouw Nutrition, for keeping silage and total mixed rations (TMR) fresh. Selko describe it as a potent mix of specific organic acids, available from McCaskie in 25kg and 225kg packs.

How Selko describe its use

  • Treating the cut face, top layer and sides of a silage clamp to slow fermentation and reduce microbial growth
  • Mixing into the TMR to limit microbial growth and keep the ration fresh for longer in the feed passage
  • Part of Selko's feed safety and quality programme, which includes laboratory and technical support and dosing equipment
