Supabeet Sugar Beet Pellets 25kg
Supabeet is a molassed sugar beet pellet: the fibrous beet pulp left after sugar extraction, dried, mixed with molasses, pelleted and lightly coated with palm oil. It is a palatable source of highly digestible fibre energy for horses, cattle and sheep, in 25kg bags.
What's in it
- Composition: sugar beet pulp, molasses and palm oil
- Digestible fibre gives slow-release energy, rather than the quick energy of cereals
- Once soaked, it can be mixed with other horse feeds
- 25kg bag
Feeding
Feeding rates are on the bag. Supabeet must be soaked before it is fed to horses, for a minimum of 24 hours. In warm weather soaked beet can ferment, so soak only enough for one day at a time. Supabeet is molassed, so it is not a low-sugar feed: for a horse or pony prone to laminitis, check the diet with your vet.
